Inspirational Traveler, Accessible Travel Coach, and Founder of Tripwell
Drawing on a lifetime of travel, a truly imaginative mind, and an arsenal of knowledge on traveling with limited mobility, Justin works with individuals worldwide, equipping them with the tools, resources, and strategies to be expert world traveler, regardless of the type of disability they have!
Living with a progressive neuromuscular disease similar to Lou Gehrig's (ALS) called "Multifocal Acquired Motor Axonopathy" (MAMA for short), Justin has lived the spectrum of limited mobility: from walking with orthotic foot braces, to using canes, walkers, manual wheelchairs, and living life from a power wheelchair, full-time.
With his wife of nearly 20 years and three children by his side, Justin has never stopped traveling and exploring our beautiful world!
Justin's most notable accomplishment is completing the Way of St. James, more commonly known as the Camino de Santiago — a 500-mile epic pilgrimage across the vast terrain of northern Spain, in a specialized wheelchair with his lifelong best friend, Patrick Gray, at the helm.
He has been featured and interviewed on NBC's Today Show, The Today Show with Megyn Kelly, "Harry" with Harry Connick Junior, The Meredith Vieira Show, and many other worldwide news media outlets.
"I love teaching and guiding people living with limited mobility to learn how to travel ANYWHERE in the world they choose. I won't tell you where to go, but I will give you the tools, strategies, resources, and encouragement to get there!"
